The story behind the app
Why I built Sevyos
I’m a craftsperson working in my garlier — my garage workshop. Between orders I needed clear quotes and compliant invoices — without losing my evenings to spreadsheets.
But I also had bills to pay: suppliers, expenses… and I wasted time retyping IBANs into e-banking. What I tried elsewhere was too complex, too expensive, or locked in the cloud with little control over my own data.
I wanted both in one place: a QR invoice ready in minutes — and scan to pay my own bills, no retyping. Nothing fit, so I built Sevyos.

Is Sevyos compliant with the Swiss QR-bill standard?
Yes. Sevyos generates QR invoices compliant with ISO 20022, type S, with structured addresses and a QR reference, accepted by all Swiss banks.
What’s the difference between the QR-bill and the old orange ISR slip?
The Swiss QR-bill standard replaced the orange payment slip (ISR/BVR) in Switzerland on 1 October 2022. The QR-bill uses the ISO 20022 format with a QR code containing all structured payment data, readable by every Swiss bank.
Is my data secure with Sevyos?
All data stays on the user’s device. Sevyos does not collect or store any data on external servers. Multi-device sync goes through your own cloud (iCloud or Google Drive).
Which devices does Sevyos run on?
Sevyos runs on iPhone and iPad (iOS) as well as Android. Multi-device sync is available via iCloud or Google Drive.
What’s the difference between Sevyos and accounting software?
Sevyos is not full accounting software. It’s a simple mobile app to invoice, get paid and pay from your phone. It exports to Swiss accounting software: Bexio, Banana, Crésus.
Does Sevyos handle Swiss VAT?
Yes. Sevyos handles VAT using either the effective method or the net tax debt rate (flat rate) — both methods recognised by the Swiss Federal Tax Administration (FTA).
Does Sevyos work for payments in euros?
Yes. Sevyos lets you scan and pay bills in EUR via the SEPA format, in addition to CHF payments by Swiss QR-bill.
